Our first stop in Italy, PISA! No, psht, not PIZZA, Pisa! Look, it leans!
Taken: Jul 7, 2006
You have NO idea how many tourists and people take photos of their families doing this same pose, LOL. And other variations. But it\'s great. PWN
This photograph was taken in front of a cathedral/church in Florence, Italy. What\'s its name, the church, you ask? Er.... well... umm... All I know is that Michaelangelo\'s David is somewhere around here!
Spielerman PWNing Rome! The Colosseum, BABY!
Spielerco presents: The Wall of Vatican City! Visiting here is serious business. Getting here early enough to not have to stand in line, well, that\'s slightly more serious.
After waiting in line for Vatican City in the hot morning Roman sun for over an hour, it\'s no WONDER I\'m this delusional! Oh well, there\'s always GELATTIs to cool me off! And this cool hat!
Me with Hat Hair at the top of St. Peter\'s Basilica in Vatican City. Eeee, next picture...
This is the Trevy Fountain in ROME. You didn\'t think there wasn\'t actually a REASON for me wearing this particular Show Shirt today, did you?
Forever Plaid is an off-broadway show that opens up with the classic 50\'s song \"Three Coins in the Fountain,\" which was based on THIS fountain right here! And I\'m throwing in three coins for my wish to come true.
Here\'s a slightly photoshopped (hey, it was DARK) image of me in Venice by some Gonjolas! The entire city\'s streets are either waterways or on petrified wood (therefore stone) stilts!
St. Mark\'s Square in Venice. Yes, there\'s pavement, only beneath us is water. The birds there are, in short, AMAZING. You can get a HUGE envelope of feed for only one Euro, which is $1.22
It took a litte bit of coaxing, but if you wet their appetite, they will fly up to your hand to get the food.
It\'s not like they\'re starved or anything, the birds. They get fed by plenty of people, and plenty of food it is! Still, they\'re all-a-flocking when it\'s free!
They\'ll even stand on top of each other, the birds, on top of one another to get food! It\'s quite a sight seeing one fly and perch on the other whose perched on your hand trying to get at the seed directly below itself.
Almost humorously, you can bet that any large quantities of bird-food in public places like this actually contain some form of birth control - to keep the population down. The birdies love it.... But maybe this one knows the truth!
Yep. Two single guys looking for some chicks (literally only for him) for a good time and maybe something more. A/S/L PLZ! ...right.
A side-street/waterway of Venice, the city on stilts. Wooden pilings were driven into the mud creating petrified stone which supports everything! The city is sinking a few cm per year. See it while you can!
Few people know that Venice is actually partly on mainland. Think of Ocean City, MD if you\'re from USA. Lots of shops and umbrellas. Whoot!
This is me, uh, er... umm.. yeah. With a THUMBS UP, because I\'m - guess what - KNEE-DEEP IN THE ADRIATIC, BABY! And I\'m holding my pants up with my pinky, that isn\'t a choice pose but I worked with what I could. Right...
